Hey there! My name is Rick! I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and currently reside in the city. I began my journey in videography over 7 years ago on my mission to travel the world. With a 25K backpack, laptop bag, my first drone, and a gimbal for my phone, I captured my adventure through Spain, Italy, France, Morocco, India, Australia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, to name a few. I found my passion for storytelling through travel video; I loved capturing moments and different people's stories, because everyone has one. Then it all clicked - I wanted to make this my career. So when I got home, I devoted all of my energy and time to learning everything I could. Today, I am lucky to say my career is in my passion, in capturing the stories of unique couples, wildly in love, and it is a gift that my art brings such joy to others. My favorite part of being in the industry is having the privilege in capturing people's love story, and sharing it in a unique way for them to be able to relive one of the best days of their lives. I consider my shooting style to be warm, approachable, creative, adventurous and documentary. When I’m not filming you can find me scouting a chic coffee shop, trying out new restaurants (HUGE FOODIE), planning a trip for a weekend (or week) getaway, or simply going for a walk or bike ride around the park and cities. I am most excited to see the potential of destination weddings for the upcoming year with Aspen & Co.
